SALAD NIGHTS is a documentary film that examines the experiences of various participants from the 90s post-punk scene of Washington D.C. and surrounding areas. The film intends to paint a portrait of this special time and place, but also aims to discover the lasting impact of it. Many of the people involved are still performing music to this day. Some with the bands that they started over 25 years ago. If music is not being explored then some other branch of personal expression or dedication can be found. Always with an anchor back to where the inspiration first blossomed, in our beloved and classic local scene.
